Bekkers Pet Care officially opened up January 2001. The property was bought in the west end of Ottawa to serve Richmond, Stittsville, Manotick, Barrhaven, Kanata and surrounding areas.
After two years of business, Bekkers opened up the second half of the facility to keep up with the demand. In terms of our physical space, we’ve continually added to our facility since then, improving and maintaining our buildings and grounds to the highest standards.
The Growth of Our Business
Our business has grown every year since we opened, 15 years ago. We attribute that to a couple main factors.
The first is the reputation that we’ve built on honesty, integrity, and great staff members. Our reputation is built on honesty and integrity. We’ve always put an emphasis on hiring good managers and plenty of part time staff, to make sure all the dogs and cats being boarded with us get lots of attention during their stay.
